Concentration Camp Dachau Memorial Place
The Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial is located northwest of Munich,
about 30km away from the Hotelpension zum Gock'l.
It was erected on May 5, 1965 as a memorial place and place of remembrance on the former prisoner camp of the Dachau concentration camp.
The archive of the memorial and part of the exhibition are located in the preserved former farm building of the camp. The memorial is visited annually by about 800,000 people from all over the world.
